With "MVAS" the duo introduces their first single of the 2021 EP "WINTER" which was realised in collaboration with Dublin based producer Matija Vukosavljevic. Their debut is a strong, partly EDM-like piece, which leads through a variety of multi-faceted soundscapes.
"My Voicings Are Sh*t", the full name of the title, is a story about the challenges when learning a craft and delving deep into it. The confrontation with one's own weaknesses and the resulting frustrations constantly test one's personal limits and make you grow beyond them. At the same time, however, it is important not to lose yourself in the world of academia but to follow your own individual path.
Knowledge should serve the heart and not the vice-versa.
With this in mind the duo plays with perceptions and perspectives and one might even end up inverting the meaning of the title to the opposite of what was first thought of, displaying a new gained form of self-esteem.
